You may book a consultation prior to your appointment to discuss your goals and come up with a treatment plan or we can do a consultation at your appointment!

 

Avoid use of Accutane for 6 months before treatment. Please notify your provider if you have ever used Accutane and when.

 

If you are prone to cold sores, take antiviral agent for 2 days prior to and day of treatment. Please inform your provider if you have a tendency to develop cold sores.

 

Avoid Chemical Peels if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or allergic to any of the ingredients in the product.

2 WEEKS

Do not get IPL or laser hair removal in the 2 weeks before and after treatment.

1 WEEK

Do not use topical agents that may increase sensitivity of skin: retinoids, topical antibiotics, exfoliants, acids that may be drying or irritating to the skin (such as alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) beta hydroxy acids (BHA), exfoliating masks, salicylic acids, hydroquinone, and benzoyl peroxide acne products) 7 days before or after your appointment.

 

Do not bleach, wax, tweeze or use depilatory creams in treatment area for 7-10 days before and after treatment.

 

Do not get any other aesthetic treatments such as chemical peels, microneedling, dermal filler or neurotoxin treatments in the week before or after treatment.

2 DAYS

Discontinue use of topical retinoids or vitamin A derivative products (Retin A, etc.), chemical exfoliants (glycolic acid, etc.), mechanical exfoliants (scrubs, etc.) 7-10 days before and after treatment.

 

Avoid tweezing, bleaching, waxing, and hair removal cream to avoid any increased redness or irritation.

 

Do not take any anti-inflammatory medications or supplements such as aspirin, ibuprofen, Motrin or Advil for 3 days prior to treatment.

DAY OF

Be sure to eat and hydrate before your appointment!
